This is a freshly graded PGX 8.5 (VF+) copy of Fantastic Four #52 from 1966. This comic, which is one of the hottest collectible Marvel comics right now, contains the first appearance of the Black Panther. Black Panther played a key role in the recent Captain America movie and is rumored to be getting his own movie soon. I am neither a comic dealer or a professional grader, but I have been an avid comic collector for over 40 years and my goal is to describe any comic I am selling the same way I would want a seller to describe the comic to me. I will also make sure any comic that I mail is packaged safely before shipping. Because this comic is PGX-graded, I'll spare you most of the details. The colors are rich, the cover is glossy, and the corners are great, but there is some faint wear along the top edge and along the spine. The case is brand new and so shiny that I had a tough time taking the pictures, but there is a "scuff" mark on the front case, which was a little surprising for a freshly graded comic. See pictures for additional details. I will send this to the buyer anywhere in the Continental U.S. via USPS Priority Mail with insurance for $12. I've sold many of my doubles on eBay, but this is the beginning of selling my actual collection. I am also selling the first appearances of Silver Surfer, Luke Cage and Captain Marvel right now and plan to sell many other key Black Panther, Luke Cage and Silver Surfer issues next month so please follow me. (I hope to sell my entire Amazing Spider-Man collection at some point, too, but that's a little harder for me to part ways with.) If you buy this comic, I will happily combine shipping for other comics for free. Just tell me in an email that you are purchasing other items from me so I can send you a revised invoice. I typically accept returns, but not on a valuable graded comic, because the condition is pre-defined and there is too much potential for fraud.
