nbsp Hello and thanks for looking. This auction is for AMAZING SPIDER-MAN . nbsp Marvel Comics . nbsp Spider-Man Versus Dr. Octopus Written by Stan Lee. Penciled by Steve Ditko. Featuring the first appearance and origin of Dr. Octopus Otto Octavius . In this issue: Dr. Otto Octavius is known for the set of four remote-controlled arms he created to handle radioactive material. An explosion during a radioactive experiment causes the mechanical arms to be fused to Octavius body. The radiation also affects his brain. With a new appetite for power, Doc Ock takes over the U.S. Atomic Research Center to harness the atomic energy it contains and to use it for nefarious purposes. Spider-Man challenges Doc Ock, applying his own science knowledge to defeat his foe. Item description: This is a LOW-GRADE comic. Defects include multiple front cover creases, tears at the top left corner of the book affecting the front and back covers, blunting at the corners, tears adjacent to the staples, some creasing of interior pages, and a tear at the bottom of page . Staples remain attached. Please see images.
