A little history
The second printing of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was printed in May of . It has a full color glossy cover and the inside is black and white on newsprint. The original artwork for the cover of nbsp TMNT and Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were sent to the color separator, each cover was scanned separately and somehow the titles got switched when the negatives were assembled for the printer. 0,000 were printed and bound and prepared for shipping. When the mistake was realized, all the copies should have been destroyed. It is believed that 00 to ,000 copies may have survived, which would make this arguably the rarest TMNT comic ever produced.
